What is a typical emergency?
If unsure, it is still best to call and we will advise you
Emergency response is typically needed for Asbestos and PCB testing.
Onsite Mould Identification may also be rapidly required for health safety or insurance purposes (e.g. after a flood).
Cost Guideline
For independent environmental analysis, our laboratory pricing is always provided via quotation. Whether you are an engineer, a builder, insurance company or a home owner, we have a “cost per project” model and we do our best to help you with your budget. We also offer bulk pricing for larger and more involved projects.
Call ( 905-475-7755 x227) or email us for exact pricing. We can also email you a guideline fee schedule for your quotations needs.
When is Testing Needed?
Testing is often necessary when renovating, demolishing, or for regulatory procedures during site development planning.
Analysis is also needed to identify possible contamination that may have leached from a neighbouring property.
For the home owner or property manager, testing is typically required when mould accumulates after a flood or if older building materials (such as asbestos) are uncovered.
See more on pre-demolition survey requirements.
The Laboratory’s Role Is to Offer Analytical Evidence
- Analytical evidence plays a key role when defining Hazardous Materials or Designated Substances. Our Air Quality Investigation or Hazardous Material teams are ready to help you STAT!
- Other possible projects that require lab analysis include Environmental Assessments, Record of Site Condition (for zoning changes), Building Conditions, and Risk Assessments to name a few.
- Independent engineers, science professionals and contractors across the province use our laboratory services for various needs, and we welcome you.
- Once a contaminant is identified after collection and analysis, Fisher Engineering can guide you to an appropriate solution if required.
